Mare, born 2021, bay turning grey, fivegaited

Táta is a beautiful, elegantly built fivegaiter with a heart of gold.

She shows tölt and trot alike, we haven't seen her in pace yet, but according to her pedigree it should be available later under the saddle to train if desired. Her gaits are soft and with high movement.

Táta is extremly curious, open-minded and lovable, she likes to be around people and explores new, unknown things with great curiosity and a lot of courage. We expect that in the future she will become a relaxed, easy-going and self-confident riding horse that follows its rider through thick and thin.

Her father Þokki is a son of Þórálfur frá Prestsbæ (World Championship participant and once the highest judged Icelandic Horse in the world with a total score of 8.94) and his pedigree goes back to many highly evaluated horses and winners of prizes for offspring on both father's and mother's side.

Þokki shows well separated gaits with easy tölt and very good basic gaits with high and wide movement and a very well leaped canter for a fivegaiter. His offspring are open-minded, courageous and have a very good distribution of gaits.

Táta's mother Pjása is out of our foundation mare Þula frá Hafsteinsstöðum (a full sister to the former world record holder in speedpace Drífa frá Hafsteinsstöðum). There are already some siblings of Pjása in Germany, where the eldest was presented in fivegait and pace competitions. Pjása's eldest daughter, a full sister of Táta, is also already exported and brings great joy to her owner.

Pjása's father is the honorary award winner Aðall frá Nýjabæ, who was evaluated with 8.64 overall and 8.97 for ridden abilities.

Due to her pedigree, character and well established gaits, we could also imagine Táta having a great future in breeding.
